Hello! My name is Morgan and I am an Educational Therapist and Reading Specialist. I have worked with children of various ages for over 12 years. I was a nanny for several years and have also worked as a preschool teacher. In 2011, I completed my Bachelor's degree in Child and Family Development. At the end of 2018, I completed my Master's degree in Education, with an emphasis on Reading and Language Arts. My program consisted of extensive research, developing lesson plans and new material, and implementing reading intervention with several students. After my Masters program, I completed a post Masters certificate in Educational Therapy. I have a passion for teaching children and I love to watch students learn and grow. Reading is an essential part of our everyday lives, and it is a significant factor in a student's success in school. I want every child to learn to love reading and have the opportunity to be a strong reader.​

 

I am dedicated to helping struggling, beginner, and emergent readers through personalized, one-on-one interventions and small group sessions. By implementing targeted literacy assessments, I tailor lesson plans to address your child's unique strengths and weaknesses in areas such as phonics, comprehension, and vocabulary. Additionally, as an Educational Therapist and Executive Functioning Coach, I empower students with essential skills like organization and time management, ensuring they are well-equipped for academic success.
